| Overview: |
The
goal of this conference is to provide women veterans,
from all services and from any time period, with
comprehensive information regarding benefits and
opportunities to which they may be entitled. The
day will begin at 9am with opening ceremonies. Guest
speakers include Wilma Vaught, BG USAF (Ret.) President,
Women In Military Service For America Memorial Foundation,
Inc., Carole Turner, National Director of the VHA
Women Veterans Health Program and Edward J. Mechenbier,
Maj. Gen. USAF (Ret.) Prisoner of War. The Department
of Veteran Affairs, VA Healthcare System of Ohio,
the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services
and representatives from County Veterans Service
Office will present workshops. It's also a great
time for fellowship with other women veterans. |
